IJsselmeer

Opening times

The outdoor season of the Zuiderzee Museum runs up to 28 October 2012. Up to that date, the open-air section will move into top gear. The Indoor Museum, with the various exhibitions, is open daily from 10.00 to 17.00h.

Accessible for wheelchair users

Wheelchair users have been considered wherever possible during the design of the indoor Museum and the exhibition areas. A visit to this building does not usually result in any problems. The Outdoor Museum is generally also accessible for wheelchair users. However, the streets, alleys and buildings have been built and designed in an authentic manner. This has resulted in limited space in some areas, or perhaps a path might have quite a steep incline. This can be a difficult obstacle for a wheelchair. People assisting disabled people who cannot visit the museum independently will enjoy free entry.

At the cashpoint you can obtain a map showing a wheelchair-friendly route through the Outdoor Museum.

Pets not permitted

Pets are not allowed in the Museum. Working guide dogs however are permitted.
